Feliciano “El Sapo” Hernandez
The journey for Feliciano began in 2009 followed by a 9 year gap in between training. After training for a year and competing in De La Riva Cup 2010 (Lakeland, FL) under American Top Team, an injury caused a halt to the journey. Fast forward to 2018, Feliciano went searching for a new home and start for Jiu Jitsu. After locating Dillon Gower (known from his 2009-2010 training), comfort was easily found. With a great group of teammates who are considered family, Feliciano progressed to Blue Belt while staying an active, competing white belt. Competing often, El Sapo plans to be considered one of the top grappling prospects while helping the Cogito family reach their highest competition potential. Training under Dillon Gower, Derek Hudiburg and apprenticing under Jason Valle for some time, Feliciano brings a unique style to the mats that everyone seems to enjoy.
